SRC: Sprint Robot Championship bereitet sich auf den Abschluss des Steam Early Access vor

Back on February 1st, 2019 Ragequit Studios launched SRC: Sprint-Roboter-Meisterschaft into Early Access on Steam. The game is a first-person racing title featuring futuristic, cyber-themed environments involving robots attempting to use their enhanced abilities to outperform their opponents and race to the finish line. Recently the developer sent out a notice informing the community that the game is scheduled to graduate from Early Access within the next few weeks.

The notice comes alongside a recent beta update to the game that dropped on 14. Februar 2020, where they added several new features and fixed a few pressing bugs. They added a global/lobby chat to the main menu, as well as rearranged the Trials Mode tracks by difficulty (from easiest to hardest), and reworked some of the obstacles on the Flux track and Avalanche track.

Das Spiel selbst ist ein bisschen ähnlich Sprint-Vektor erfüllt F-Zero. Instead of relying on power-ups and attack strategies, the focus is on becoming the best at navigating the ins and outs of the tracks, finding the best routes to the finish line, and attempting to thwart your opponents using reflexes and proper timing.

You can get an idea of what the gameplay is like with the trailer below, courtesy of Spielfreaks 365.

Das Gameplay ist wie eine Mischung aus beidem Mirrors Edge erfüllt Entfernung. You have the ability to wall-run, slide, parkour, jump, and air-boost across tracks that have a number of obstacles and platforming challenges to overcome.

The track environments remind me a lot of Extreme-G, with these inviting and airy locations, but the actual tracks themselves are a lot closer to the likes of Jet Set Radio Zukunft or Sprint-Vektor, with multiple routes, shortcuts, and various tips and tricks that can be utilized to reach the finish line in stylish fashion.

SRC: Sprint-Roboter-Meisterschaft features over 20 different tracks, a single-player mode, and an online multiplayer mode.

The game was originally supposed to be in Early Access for only five months but it turned into a whole year. The game is still currently in Early Access over on the Dampfspeicher for $14.99 but the full version is expected to go live over the course of the next few weeks.
